Gilberto
Personal Trainer & class instructor
Gilberto’s passion for body performance and shape started a long time ago. His experience in the fitness industry goes back more then 10 years to the time when he took his first Gym and Personal Trainer qualification in Portugal. He moved to England to further his knowledge about sport performance, anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and nutrition, gaining his Bsc. Sports Science degree from the University of Brighton in 2008, and also obtaining a (UK) Personal Trainer qualification. Gilberto’s has a friendly approach, he knows the right formula for an effective work-out. As an ex-semi professional football player, sport specific training and weight lost are his favourite subjects. Totally passionate about sport, for him nothing is more rewarding then to see a client changing shape and achieving aspired goals.
He knows how hard it is when sometimes you need to work through pain to achieve great results.
Natalie
Gym Instructor & class instructor
Natalie is a professional dancer and a qualified Exercise to Music Instructor. She studied dance from the age of four at the Rye Dance Centre then went on to the Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts in Sidcup, Kent where she gained a 2:1 Ba Honours Degree in Dance and Theatre Performance. After graduating, she went on to travel the world through dancing on cruise ships (NCL) for Jean Ann Ryan Productions based in Florida. As well as dancing, she also choreographed, staged was Company Manager and Dance Captain. She has experience in the following dance styles: Ballet, Jazz,Tap, Adage, Latin Jazz, Latin Ballroom, Aerial, Disco, Jive, Bollywood, Musical Theatre and many more. Shows included Hey! Mr Producer! by Sir Cameron Mckintosh, a collaboration of all his famous west end shows including Les Mis, Oliver!, My Fair Lady and Witches of Eastwick. After, finishing ships, she decided to settle back down in her home town of Rye, where she quickly gained a qualification in Exercise to Music, teaching group fitness classes. She teaches dance, latina-size, body conditioning, aerobics, stretch and tone and fitball. With Natalie’s friendly approach she knows the right formula for mixing dance with an effective work- out.
Lorraine
Personal Trainer & class instructor
Lorraine is an experienced, highly motivated individual with a BSc (hons) in Sport Science. Her qualification s also includes Modern Dance, Tap and Ballet, RPM and Personal Training.
She has been working in gyms and health and fitness related environments doing Personal Training and Nutrition Advice for the past 10 years, and her commitment, attention to detail and focus on well- being is the key for the happiness of every client.
Graham
Gym Instructor & class instructor
Graham started as a gym member but his passion for sport and fitness was so great that his dream was to become a Fitness Instructor. Graham is partially disabled, he has tunnel vision and auditory problems, but he did not let that stop him! Graham has participated in a number of professional events (London and Hastings Marathon, Hastings half Marathon, Aerobics conventions etc.). He joined the Reed Health Fitness team in 2007 and with his commitment and dedication and our help Graham has achieved part of his dream by qualifying as a Gym Instructor in July 2009.. He has brought a different approach to the team by bringing his enthusiasm to his training and his Abs Studio Class Exercises Style, a unique combination. Graham loves his running and he shares his determination, his drive and his ‘win’ attitude with his clients.
